They blocked off traffic for 2 days if i remember, for what ended up being an extremely short scene (it involved reporters encountering bruce as he exits the office building) The Lambo was parked there before they set up the shoot, and anyone could have just walked up to it and oggled (as I did), it was not evident at all it was a movie prop.

The Dark Knight Free movie page imdb. I don’t think any actor was miscast in this series. That being said, I loved this take on bane but still felt it was missing something. Heath left some very big shoes to fill, but Bane BROKE Batman in his debut, and I don’t just mean physically. He psychologically exhausted Batman’s limits. He was every bit tactician as he was combatant. Tom Hardy Bane might’ve been GOTHAM’S reckoning, but I think he could’ve been better at being Batman’s reckoning.

And to show that all the illusions of people’s goodness are facades. That men are one skipped meal or minor tragedy from showing their true side: evil, desperate, chaotic. That’s all. That line sums up the thesis of concept of the joker. But definitely they drilled it a few more times with “some men just want to see the world burn” and his dangling monologue at the end about how much joy he finds just being in conflict with the Batman. Ultimately the Joker doesn’t want to simply kill people, he wants to turn them. 2 face is his ultimate victory. The people on the boat refusing to blow each other up is his ultimate defeat. Batman didn’t defeat him, he can’t. Batman is the rational detective who will never fully comprehend or have enough emotional quotient to understand this enemy well enough to conquer him. What does though, really, is people on the boats choosing to value other peoples lives instead of their own even in a situation extreme duress. In Jokers ideology that’s never supposed to happen. And that’s when the crack shows and it turns out he DOES have an attachment and weakness. He NEEDS for people to be evil underneath it all, and it needs to be able to provoke it and expose it. Loved that character so much. Only gripe is I wish they would’ve done a better job of showing just how derailing that defeat would’ve been for him. I wanted to see him lose his shit. Instead he got punched by Batman and the moments over.
